Too Many Days in Santa Cruz

I got to Santa Cruz on Saturday. Wednesday will be my last night on this part of my trip. Not sure where I am going tomorrow. I will be driving someone to San Jose, CA airport. Then I get to drive myself to the Los Angeles Airport.

100_4216 100_4217 On my last night in town, I got to go see my brother-in-law play at the Cava Wine Bar in Capitola Village. I can not remember the last time I was in Capitola Village. Maybe at some point when I worked in Capitola which means at least 12 years ago.

Walked along the sidewalk next to the beach and got to use a telescope. Venus, Mars , and Saturn were all available to see. Seeing the rings around Saturn was awesome. Some lights across the bay. Probably Marina and Monterey.

After looking through the telescope we went to the Paradise Beach Grille.  100_4227 Beautiful back porch area with some sort of cove.

After a shot and a beer, we went back to see JD play the second part of his set. Allison and Lorelei ordered some olives.

100_4228  The olives were not that bad. Even I had part of one olive and I do not like olives.

I had a pretty good night out with my sister and her husband.

Then we went home and Lorelei worked on my trip envelopes. I am very scared about this surprise trip that I have allowed my sister to plan for me.
