I finally woke up for good around 22:00. I got dressed in a shirt, tie, and slacks. I could not decide what to do all day so I ended up sleeping. I finally left the house a little before 23:00. I started walking around Broadway trying to figure out a good place to get some food.

I spent part of my night at the Garage drinking. Then I spent 56 minutes bowling 5 games. I find it hard to believe that I spent 11 minutes a game. And my best game was the 5th with a 149 score.

Game 4 - 99 with 2 strikes in the 10th, thought I was only going to get a 90 if I struck out

Game 5 - 149 3 strikes

I ended that 4th game so well that I decided to bowl a 5th. The 5th started well and I did okay. I think I should have relaxed earlier in the night, I would have bowled higher games. Either the combination of relaxation and alcohol or just a little bit more concentration earlier in the night would have increased my scores. At $5 a lane for an hour, I think I should spend more time bowling.

My birthday cake with some candles. I thought I had a picture of the candles on fire but I can not seem to find it. It was quite a blaze.

After bowling I stopped at the Sun Liquor Distillery to get a screwdriver. Then I made my way home.

One Year Ago

This was intended to be a much longer post but I distracted myself because I could not deal with the thoughts necessary to write this post.
This weekend last year, I met a woman who changed my life. I have more to say on this woman and my life but I still can not bring myself to write.
I am going to go get drunk.

Yes, the vague musings of my life are horrible.

5th Envelope plus Envelope 4B

I forgot about Envelope 4B. I opened it at the right time. Chichen Ista tour looks great. I have been wanting to see some Mayan Ruins for a long time. I want to wait on confirming those plans until I see what Lorelei and JD have planned for Saturday.

All these places that Lorelei and JD included look good. I am so tired from traveling that I decide to just hang out in the Hotel Bar. Nice and quiet. Great view of the Caribbean Sea. I see no reason to go out tonight. I tried to take a nap when I first got to the hotel but I just could not sleep. I guess I slept longer on the plane than I had thought.

This is the Terrace dining room. I guess there is Main dining room upstairs. After eating I moved over to the bar area.

This is a carving done by one of the hotel workers. I believe if I understood Miguel correctly, this is the Goddess Ixchel.

4th Envelope plus Envelope 4A

I got on board the Ultramar passenger ferry to Isla Mujeres. I want to call the ferry a Catamaran Hydrofoil. The front of the ship felt like it raised up as the speed increased. To me that is a Hydrofoil. Once on board I was to open the 4th envelope. Looks like I am staying at a hotel on Isla Mujeres.    

Big bed. Great backyard. Swimming pool. Steam bath. Spa. Restaurant with bar on the roof.

Casa Ixchel is amazing. I can not believe Lorelei got me a room here on such short notice.

3rd Envelope

Waiting at the Mexico City Airport for my connecting flight to Cancun. This is a nice airport. Clean and spacious.

Aero México is a good airline but everything is in Spanish and my skills in Spanish consist of Gracias and Banos.
Cancun airport is surrounded by trees. Pretty touchdown but does not take long to swelter in the heat. The jungle that surrounds the Cancun airport.
I get to open the next envelope when I touch down in Cancun. I do not know what will be in that envelope.
Opening the third envelope reveals that I am going to Isla Mujeres. No clue what that means. The water looks great.

I guess this is what is meant by opening the 4th envelope on board.
