Got a late start today. I was supposed to meet Erin at the Seattle International Beerfest around noon. I got there after 13:00. Erin had just left when I got down there. I had several good beers while at the Beerfest. You got ten beer tickets when you paid admission. Each beer was a different number of tickets.
There was a very long line for some beer called Dogfish. I was told the beer was good but I was too lazy to wait in line for it. 2 tickets for Cascade Mystery beer was the first one I tried. It was okay.
2 tickets for a beer that had the word apple in the title. That was a good choice.
1 ticket for the Laurelwood Green Elephant. That was okay but I would not try it again. 2 tickets for the Joe Smith Cherry. This was the highlight of the Beerfest for me. I want to keep a bottle of this around the house.
2 tickets for Scotch Silly. That was okay. I used my last two tickets on this. I was going to use my last two tickets on more of that Cherry beer but the Cherry was sold out when I went back for more. I wish I had taken pictures of the other title cards of the beers that I tried.
I walked around Seattle Center and found some Red Ropes at a booth outside Pacific Science Center. I have been looking for Red Ropes for a while.
After the Beerfest, I went to Whole Foods Market on my way back home. Picked up some fruit and slices of pizza. Then I went home for a nap and watched some movies. Went out around 21:45 to see the fireworks show.
