This is a picture of Auntie and Nanny's lawn when I dropped off Auntie after I picked her up from the airport.
Auntie took me to lunch at this place. I had breakfast. It was interesting. The pancakes were interesting because they were different sizes. I liked them like that.
Here is Auntie in the truck. She had just got into the vehicle and I was not able to get a better picture of her before she got inside.
A place to throw everything. Sometimes you buy stuff, sometimes you steal stuff, sometimes you need to put your drunk friends in the back. And sometimes you just feel like carrying a couch around to sit on when you are parked somewhere.

WWE RAW returns to USA
WWE Raw returned to USA Network on October 3, 2005. It was on Spike TV for the last few years. They had a homecoming event and I decided to invite some people over to watch it.
This is the main group shot. Starting from the left: Jonathan, Matt, Chris, Anthony, and Nicole. David showed up for the last ten or fifteen minutes of the show.
The show was pretty good. Some of the matches were better than the last couple Pay Per Views. Which reminds me. This Sunday is the "NO Mercy" Pay Per View. I will be showing it at my place on Sunday. Doors open at 1630. 430 for those who don't know what 1630 means.

Cat checking out the Old New Furniture
My Aunt and Nanny got some new furniture. I asked if they had any spare chairs. They had these two blue ones that I took home. These chairs have been around other cats for a while. When I was carrying them home up the hill from where I parked, JC (the cat) came out checked out the chairs. When I got the chairs inside, I was able to take some pictures of JC checking out the chairs. He really seemed to like the smell on the chairs. He keeps going back to sniff them over and over again. These first photos I took of the chair I put in the kitchen. I had to put it in the living room though. It didn't work too well in the kitchen.
I put this under the People Being People blog for a reason. Cats are just like people in a lot of ways.

0230 Pickup at the Airport
Some friends of mine went to Las Vegas. For some reason, I volunteered my services as a driver. Probably so they wouldn't have to pay for parking. They did take the last flight back to Seattle which meant a late pick up. Being that it was so late I only took one picture.
Anthony, Elizabeth, David, and Amy waiting to get into the car.
Me being Me
Here is a picture of me. I really should have worked on the background of the photo. I did not even think of it until I started reviewing the pictures I took. As you can see, there is a mess behind me. Bad clothes, no hair, slouching, everything that you should not do in a self portrait, I did. I wrote this up and then I edited the picture. Oh well.

Amy's Birthday Breakfast at Linda's
Concert at the Blue Moon
Amy called me up on Friday night reminding me of her show at the Blue Moon on Saturday night. After a bus ride and a little walking, I found the Blue Moon. The show was pretty good. The bands that played are listed on the blue moon website. I tried to take some pictures but they did not come out very well. I will post some so that you can get a feel for the show. Shawn's mom (drum player) also shot some video of all three bands. I don't know if those get posted or not. I know that they would be pretty big files.
It was nice to be able to get out of the apartment. Even if I could not enjoy the show as I usually do with me jumping around and stuff.

Cobra Commander Mini-Statue
Last week on www.entertainmentearth.com, during their summer blow out sale, I found the Cobra Commander mini-statue. It was marked down to about a third of original price. I just had to get it. I wanted the Destro mini bust but it sold out before I really made up my mind about ordering the stuff.
I wish I had taken pictures from the time I picked it up in the front hall or before I opened the box. I forgot I had the camera until after I opened the box. Hopefully, the pictures upload okay. This is the first time I tried to upload pictures at the same time I wrote the blog.

A shot of all 4 cars

Fry's Electronic Store Renton, WA
I went to Fry's last Saturday. As I was leaving, all these people were staring at this group of cars right outside. I continued out to my car when I realized why these people were staring. Somehow someone made their car go up the curb, up a tree, over a Jeep Wrangler, and land on the next car. And still managed to hit a third car. Lots of pictures in public on Flickr under Pocketdoom. I will try to post some here if I figure out how to do it.

I went out shopping last night. I went to the Southcenter Toys R Us and Target. Target no longer has any GI Joes on the shelves. I am not very happy about that. I thought they would at least have space in preparation for the Sigma 6 figures.
I did see a nice selection of Joes at Toys R Us. They had some figures that I have not picked up yet. Being that I am in a cash flow problem right now, I did not pick any Joes up. I did finally find that Fire and Ice Smoke Dragon that I have been wanting.
I also found some of the new Toy Biz Marvel toys. They had some stuff I hadn't seen before like the Make a Figure stuff, the Ghost Rider SuperHero showdown figure, and these Transformers Marvel style. Very interesting stuff but nothing I picked up.
And that was what I did on Sunday night.

I am starting up this blog to capture moments in my collecting life. To put notes about what I find and am looking for in regards to my 3 3/4" GI Joe collection.
I have a pretty extensive collection dating back to when the toys first started coming out in 1982/1983. I was 7 years old. I just turned 30 on July 31. My toy collection is a big part of me.
The biggest change in my collection is the selling of the Defiant Space Shuttle Complex and the Mobile Command Center. I was very happy when the MCC came back out but I was not able to buy one at the time it was on the shelves. Other than the selling of those, I still have all of my collection.
My newest purchase was the buying of the Cobra Imperial Procession.
